1. 1949 Authorized by the Air Force Dept. of the Central Military Commission, No. 21 Plant of Air Force was established in Shanghai.
2. 1950 No. 21 Plant moved to the Ming Imperial Palace airport, Nanjing.
3. 1951 No. 21 Plant was renamed as the State-run No. 511 Plant.
4. 1952 No. 511 Plant prepared under orders for establishing Nanjing Technical School of Aviation Industry (predecessor of Nanjing University of Aviation and Cosmonautics)
5. 1956 Convening of 1st Party Congress in No. 511 Plant.
6. 1958 No. 511 Plant was changed from an engine repair workshop to an aviation accessories plant
7. 1962 The first large-scale workshop restructure took place and over 95% of machine tools were moved into new workshops.
8. 1974 Start of military enterprises being converted to civil business. Production value of civil products such as pressure regulating valves amounted to half of the gross output in the same year.
9. 1979 Succeeded in the trial-manufacture of the first CJ-70 motorcycle and the engine.
10. 1983 Resumed publishing of Jincheng Newspaper, the Plant Party Committee's official newspaper.
11. 1985 Introduction of motorcycle production technology from SUZUKI company in Japan.
12. 1988 The first 530 Jincheng motorcycles got access to international market.
13. 1989 Debut of AX-100 motorcycle, with a homemade rate of 80%
14. 1990 Both gross output value and turnover of Jincheng exceeded 100 million Yuan for the first time.
15. 1991 First broadcast of Jincheng Cable TV Station.
16. 1992 The first motorcycle manufacture group in China, Jincheng Motorcycle Group, came into being.
17. Jincheng Corporation entered the list of "500 Largest Industrial Enterprises in China".
18. VQ pump development took effect and 1138 sets were exported to Canada the same year.
19. 1993 Both output and turnover exceeded 1 billion Yuan.
20. Introduction of the world's most advanced intellectualized flexibility machining technology at the cost of $10 million.
21. With the production technology for JC70A exported to Pakistan, Jincheng became the first exporter of motorcycle techniques in China.
22. 1994 Establishment of Nanjing Jincheng Machinery Co., Ltd., the Sino-Foreign joint venture with the largest investment in the motorcycle industry.
23. The first intellectual flexibility production line for motorcycle in China was put into use.
24. Mr. Zhu Rongji inspected Jincheng and gave full affirmation to the reformation achievements made by Jincheng.
25. Main economic indexes doubled for five consecutive years; composite indexes of economic results amount to three times as much as the national average.
26. 1995 The Quality Assurance System for Jincheng Motorcycle manufacturing was certified under ISO9001.
27. CIMS project, one of the key state 863 projects was started up in Jincheng.
28. 1996 Nanjing Jincheng Machinery Factory was converted to Jincheng Corporation Co., Ltd.
29. China's first motorcycle JVC abroad --Jincheng Columbia Co., announced its establishment.
30. The General assembly shop in Jincheng Motorcycle City, covering an area of 1700 mu (one mu is 667m2) was completed and put into use.
31. 1997 More than 10000 high-pressure impeller pumps were exported, taking the 1st place in Chinese Machinery Industry.
32. Jincheng was identified as State Class Technical Center.
33. The number of motorcycles exported by Jincheng and its earnings in foreign exchange vaulted to the 1st place in the motorcycle industry.
34. 1998 Jincheng's CIMS Project was listed in the State Key Cultivating Projects.
35. The new factory in Jincheng Columbia co. went into operation and Vice premier Wu Bangguo cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony in person. Jincheng Corp. was certified with GJB/Z9001 Quality System. Introduction of CIS into Jincheng made the corporate image for the first time stepped up to the height of productive forces.
36. 1999 Jincheng Corp. held a quinquagenary celebration.
37. "Jincheng" was identified as Chinese renowned trademark.
38. 2000 Comrade Cao Anguo assumed the Director of the BOD of Jincheng Corporation Co., Ltd.
